Good News from Israel

With all the unfair bath mouthing of Israel and the Jews (mainly caused by ignorance, hate, lies, bent facts and propaganda), I decided to try and do a little something for straightening the image of Israel. For the record, I am not a Jew. Just a Christian who has fallen in love with Israel and it's people, though I have never even been there.

A word from Hamas (article from J'lem Post)

This is an article by David Horovitz, Jerusalem Post. I copied EVERY word of it.

Enjoy!

"Those fiendish Jews. They are making it so hard for us to kill them.

They pulled every last father, mother and child out of the Gaza Strip, where we could get at them easily. They pulled their army out too.

Every last tank, every last soldier. The only one we’ve got here now is Gilad Schalit.

Some of them thought that this might sate our ambitions. Idiots. They thought the “international community” would give us hell if we carried on trying to kill them. Fools. Of course we weren’t going to stop, and of course no one was going to stop us. We won’t stop till we’ve terrorized them all the way out of Palestine. And it’s not like we’re making any secret of that; it’s all there in our charter."

(Google "Hamas Charter" and you can read for your selves)

Now back to the article...

"But, heaven help us, they don’t shift easily. And they do value life.

Even our people’s.

We make sure our fighters are surrounded by women and children before we open fire. We make sure our fighters are indistinguishable from civilians; no uniforms for us. And still those Jews insist on holding their return fire unless they can be reasonably sure they’ll only kill our men. Unbelievable: We’re doing everything we can to get our ordinary people killed, and they’re doing everything they can not to kill them. What kind of upside-down world is this?

How do they even know who our fighters are? Think of the resources they’re expending making sure they don’t kill the wrong people! Thank goodness the rest of the world is too dumb or too blinkered to internalize what’s going on; thank goodness they still haven’t figured out that we’re deliberately putting our people in harm’s way and those Jews are doing their best not to harm them.

And as for their lives? Like I said, it’s just getting harder and harder to kill them. They have early-warning systems and alarms and bomb shelters and safe rooms and protective concrete cubes and fantastic, heroic medical services. Just imagine, if we adopted those kinds of measures, we’d have none of our people killed, and then where would we be?

Come to think of it, we wouldn’t need to adopt any of those measures if we just stopped shooting at them. It’s not as though they’d shoot first. But if we stopped firing, how could we complain to the world about those vicious Zionist enemies? How could we keep the UN and the rest of those suckers on our side? How could we keep the Jew-hatred at fever pitch among our people? How could we serve our noble, bloody cause?

But, damn them and their clever innovations, they haven’t stopped with the alarms and the shelters. Now they’ve come up with this “Iron Dome” gadget.

In a million years, we didn’t think it would work. They’re going to fire rockets at our rockets and shoot them out of the sky?

Yeah, right. This isn’t Xbox or PlayStation. Last time I looked, it was a pretty big sky out there.

But bless my soul, they’ve managed it. Ten of our rockets blasted out of the air in the past two days alone. Nauseating. We were sure we’d have some meaty kills out of those salvoes.

I mean, it’s not even supposed to be working properly yet; it’s still in the experimental stage; the Israeli media were laughing at its developers; they were certain it was useless.

Sometimes, I swear, I start to wonder if God’s on their side. Crazy, huh? I don’t know what’s getting into me. But look at the evidence: This weekend we had a Grad land near a kibbutz administration building. We got one right next to a school in Ofakim. Not a single fatality. A few minutes earlier on Thursday, we might have had a bus full of schoolkids near Kibbutz Sa’ad. But no, they got off just before we hit that bright yellow, sitting- duck target, and all we got was one teenager and the driver.

What? What’s that you say? Put the weapons away? Internalize the sanctity of human life?

That’s ridiculous talk. Next you’ll be telling me to make peace with them. To acknowledge that they have the right to live here. To build a state alongside theirs. To give our people a better future. To turn our attention away from war and violence and death and killing, toward something productive.

Never, I tell you. Never."

Kassam Roses - Only in Israel

Only in Israel would they come up with something so beautiful out of something so deadly and destructive. Only in Israel, where the enemy's goal is to kill and destroy and terrorise...I wonder what Hamas and the Palestianians think of their ammunitions beeing changed into something so peaceful and beautiful? An Israeli artist, Yaron Bob, makes roses, menorah's etc from Kassam rockets that have landed in Israel.

The artwork may be bought online and a portion of the proceeds are donated to Operation Lifeshield for building needed bombshelters in Israel.

Best news from Israel: Black Gold and Gass

I was really (supernaturally?) happy to hear about a year ago, that oil had been found in Israel, as God had promissed through Moses (Deut. 33, verse 24-25):
"Asher is most blessed of sons; Let him be favored by his brothers, And let him “tabal” (plunge) his foot in oil. 25 Your “minal” (a bolt, or a bar) shall be iron and bronze; As your days, so shall your “dobe” rest be."

Below you can see which part of the Land was/is geographically Asher's tribes area. (I copied this picture and parts from the text from here, where you can find more details about the prophecy. Notice it was written in 2006.)

Now more about the oil findings. The oil shale was first estimated to make up about 4 billion barrels when extracted from the ground. New data gives the Israeli oil shales a 51 times bigger estimate of 250 billion barrels...let's not count our chickens before they hatch, but still...wow. This proves that God loves His Jewls. Here is the article from Jpost.
The oil finds are being tested, drilled etc and Israel is working on an environmentally friendly way of extracting the oil from the ground to prevent water pollution. (A big like from me!) Just wonder why the Western media hasn't caught up on this one yet...? Mostly Christian & Jewish media's have caught on the find. And Russia Today made a small video news clip about the gass and oil finds and how it is causing a strife between Israel and Lebanon, as Lebanon is arguing that the gass is in their waters. I say finders keepers :) Well there should be enough for both.

Here are links to at least two companies that are involved with the oil:

Zion Oil & Gas
Givot Olam Oil Ltd

And here an article from Forbes.

Anyone interested in investing? I would be if I had anything to invest. But I am extremely happy for you guys in Eretz and will be closely monitoring how this will develop.

Twisted facts of Israel No 1

Twisted fact No 1 is the commonly shouted out lie that Israel/IDF (=Israel Defence Force) kills Palestinian babies and children. All of you who believe this as a fact or are not quite sure of where you stand, READ this article about Israelis who saved Palestinian baby, from Ynet news. And while you are at it be carefull to catch the part where the Magen David Adom workers are interviewed about how they rescue and save Palestinian lifes, even in the case of a suicide bomber/terrorist with the agenda to kill Jews. The Magen David Adom (lit. red star of David is the Israeli equivalent of the Red Cross. They also handle the ambulance services blood doning etc.)

IDF Corporal Levin holding newly born Palestinian baby, Jude, whose life he helped safe

The fact is that Israel takes better care and cares more for the lifes of Palestinians than the so called Arab brothers in the neighbouring countries (as well as Hamas and Fatah who are supposed to be taking care of them and leading them). An eleven year old Palestinian boy was refused treatment at a Lebanese hospital because his family couldn't afford to pay for the medical care. So the boy died in front of the hospital. In Israel Palestinians are treated wether they can afford to pay or not. And as mentioned in the chapter above, even suicide bombers, terrorists and their families get medical treatment in Israel.

Jews are COOL and very talented

Every one knows or atleast should know how talented and cool people Jews are. Just check out Hollywood!
Let's start with music. Here are a few cool Youtube links to music videos made by Jewish students.

Here the first one because it is Purim. (If you want to know more about what the feast of Purim is about check out Ester's book in the Bible. Or Wikipedia)

The group of students behind the firts video have also made a Hanukkah music video:

Then there are The Maccabeats, Jewish students from US who have become famous with their song Candlelight:

One of my favourite musicians is Sarit Hadad. Here is her song Shema Israel (Hear o Israel):
